Fatal IHness During Pacific Cruise

AUCKLAND, This Day. As the Maunganui was entering Papeete Bay, Tahiti, early on the morning of Monclay, August 9, in the course of its Pacilic Islands pleasure cruise, a passenger, William D. Tucker, age-d 52, a retired farmer from Rotorua, died from heart trouhle. On August 5, the second day out l'rom Auckland, Mr Tucker sent ior the ship's doctor, Dr. C. S. Laurenee, and was removcd to the ship's liospital, where he reTnaiiied until his death. He was buried in the French ccmetcry on the outskirts of tho town, the captain and offLcers of the Maunganui attending. Mr Tucker was born in Devonskire, England.
