BATTLE OF THE BOYNE
Losses Not as Great as History Says (Received 24, 10.40 a.m.) LONDON, Aug. 23. Eye witnesses ' accounts of the Battle of the Boyne, written on pareliment by a Protestant clergyman, havo been discovered in County Down. The parchment carries a comprehensive plan of the battlefleld and declares that the losses wero fewcr than is genorally given, being not mere than 800 to 900 Irish and 200 English. The v?riter declares that Kiag William meeifully stopped the pursuit, preventing the further effusion of blood.
