Annual Tournament at Hastings The big occasion of the year for primary school Eugby playcrs' throughout Hawke's Bay is the annual Eoss Shield tournament. This year the fixture is to be played at Nelson Park, Hastings, and to-day teams are as- , sembling in Hastings in preparation for tbe opening of the 1937 tournament tomorrow. Five teams are competing, these being Wairoa, Napier, Hastings, Central Hawke's Bay, and Dannevirke. The draw for to-morrow's games, the first and second Tounds of the tournament, is as followsi— MOENING GAMES. Hastings v. Dannevirke, 9.30 a.m.; Mr Gilcrist. * Central Hawke 's Bay v. Napier, 10.30 a.m., Mr Bunker. Wairoa, a bye. AFTEENOON GAMES. Wairoa v. Dannevirke, 1.30 p.m.; Mr Falvey. Hastings v. Central Hawke's Bay, 2.30 p.m.; Mr L. Patrick. Napier, a bye.
