WAIPAWA SCHOOL BALL
Palmerston North Footballers Entertained WAIPAWA, Last Night. The Waipawa School's ball held in the Waipawa Municipal Theatre last night proved to be one of the most successful ever run by the committee. There was a fine display of fancy costumes, forming a brilliant spectacle as the children moved about the floor in the brightly-lit hall. The floor was given over to the children until ten o'clock. The manner in which the set dances were performed reflects great credit on the teaching staff responsible for the training. The Grand March was excellently carried out. At ten o'clock the children had supper and the adults proceeded with the dancing. Excellent music was provided by Mr Les. Anderson's Orchestra from Dannevirke. The supper arrangements were in the hands of a ladies' committee capably assisted by Mr H. Weedon.
