WAIPAWA, Saturday. A most successful ctmcert was given by the children of St. Josepb's Convent, Waipawa, before a crOWded hall of parOnts and mfembers of the ptlblic. The Oxcellent of the rendering of tho various items reflects great credit on tho sisters responsible for the function^ and the well-merited applausb wliich greeted every item must have given great satisfftction to tho little performers and their teachers. Individual ite'ms could not possibly be singled out, as the rendering of every item was splendid. The sisters and the children are deaerving of the highest commendation for tho excellent manner in whicli the whole progTamrno Ava^ presented. At the closo of the performanco the Rev. Father McDermott, in extending congratulations to the sisters and children on tlifiir success, also exprdssed on behalf of those presbnt their best thanks fdr sL inost enjoyable afterhOon's entertainment.
