WANGANUI FESTIVAL

"All in the Day's "Work," presented by the "Wanganui Repertory, Society, won the fifth annual Wanganui area festival of the British Drama League this week. The festival was eoneluded in one night, three senior and two junior plays being presented to a capacity house at the Repertory Theatre. •• The wards and criticism were made on a new system. There were three judgs, Miss Gladys Gammoa and Messrs Hales and Neville James, and an independent commentator, Mr Frcd McAllum, Wellington, who gave his criticism of each play at its eondusion independently of the judues. The winning play will take part in the North Island semi-finals at Hawera next month.
