STOKE-ON-TEENT— There are 25,000 schools in the TJnited States at which every child is dabbling with clay, explained Mr F. He pointed out that 60 per cent of the work was done by "youngsters between 20 and 30 years of age. ' ' In the Unitcd States 'tliey had not reached the stage where they had either developcd a style or really kncw where they were going, he said. "We are just playing about with clay and glazes and colo'urs," added Mr Ehead, "although out of tliis cleyelopment we may eventually found a style and make fhings which will be distinctly recognized as American."
