NAPIER BRIDESMAIDS IN BLUE, SALMON & LEMON
St. Augustine's Church, Napier, was decorated by friends of the bride for the wedding of Florence Eva daugh- ' ter of Mr and Mrs Lott, of Auckland, and Ray, son of Mr and Mrs Elmes, of Na.pier. Tbe Rev. S. R. Gardner, officiated at the ceremony and Mr E. C. Jamieson presided at the organ. Escorted by ber fatber, the bride wore a lovely gpwn of ivory moire satin falling gracefully to form a train, the ivory tulle veil forming a second train. She carried a lovely shower bouquet. Three maids attended the bride, Misses Valerie Carey, Norma Grange and Edna Morris, who were froeked in blue^ salmon and lemon taffeta frocks respectively and wore head bands of tiny flowers. They- carried bouquets to tone. Mr Harold Elmes carried out the duties of best man, and Messrs Leslie Simmonds and Cedric Laurance were . tbe groomsmen. Messrs Keitk Elmes and Len Hyde acted as ushers. After tbe ceremony a reception was held in the Foresters' Hall, which had been decorated by friends of the bride and groom, Mr and Mrs, Lott received tbe guests, Mrs Lott wearing a model gown of bottie-green French crepo effectively trimmed witb gold. Sbe wore a model hat and sboes to tono. Her bouquet of flowers was iu autumn . tones. . x> Mrs Elmes, tbe bridegrooni's moth- » er, wore a smart frock of rust satin- ; backed crepe witli collar of gold lume. j Sbo woro a smart liat to tone, and ! carried a bouquet iu autumn tonings. i When leaving, for the honeymoon, 1 which is. being spent in tbe soutli, tbe bride trav.elled iu a royal blue french crepe frock, over which was worn a grey fur coat. Her bat and accessories were also of .blue. i . .
