ORMONDVILLE FAREWELLS MISS JOYCE HIGGINS
Miss Joyce Higgins, who is returning to her home at- Havelock North,) wliere she intends to continue studying for her degree, after resigfuing her position as infant mistress at Ormondville Scliool, was farewelled at an enjoyable party given by Mrs T. G. Hosking at her home at Ormondville. Miss liiggins leaves for Havelock North today. Mrs Hosking's loungie, where the guests assembled, was charmingly decorated with sprays of japonica and pink camellias, interspersed with lucky whfte heather. After supper had been served by the hostess and her sister, Miss Brabazon, a presentation was made to tbe guest of honour on bebalf of the Sunday Scliool teachers, by Miss Ella Brabazon, wlio tbanked Miss Higgins for the way she had como to the assisfaueo of tlio Sunday Scliool stalf during tho ilhiess oi the lalc Miss Webb. Miss Higgins tlipnked Miss Brabazon and tlie Sunday Sebool staff l'or tbeir appreciation and for their generous gift.
