British Campaign to Urge State Aid CREDIT FACILITIES LONDON,"Aug. 20. xnterested societies urge the resumption of State-aided Empire migration and a campaign will be opened at thc Guildkall on October 11 by the Lord Mayor, who will submit a resolutioii asking the British Government to invite j representatives of Dominion Govern- j ments to consider the possibility of 1 raaking early preparations for setllement and to indieate readiness to give eredit facilities to approved schemes. ! Mr. H. D. Donaldson, sccretary of the confercnce, deciared that Canada and Australia aro increasingly convinced that, unless the disparity between the influx of British and aliens is speedily corrected, grave Imperial issues will arise. The speakers will include Viscount Bledisloe, Viscount Elibank and ~"*o Bishop of London.
