Meeting of Executive Mr C. D. Panckliurst presided over Messrs J. J. Nimon, H. Hay, H. A. Bennett, E. F. Leicester, W. H. Anderson. and H. E. Pliillips at a meeting of the Havelock Nortk. Domain Paviiion executive. Mr Phillips, honorary architect, reported fully on the progresa of the job. Accounts amounting to £28 8/11 wero passed for payment. Votes of tlxanks were accorded to Mr H. Abbott, builder, for a gift of the wliole of the boxing required for the foundations and supplying labour for bending the reinforced " steel ; Mr W. Paton, builder, for the loan of a power concrete-mixer, which enabled the committee to effect a big saving in the cost o.f putting jn the foundations; and to Messrs B, and S. CromptonSmith for the lqan of a liand concretemixer for the duration pf tlie job; Mr Gr. Pickering for supplying building shingl© free and qartage ; and an anonymous donor for a donation of £5 5/-. Mr Pliillips reported that 12,000 seconddiand tiles would be required to complete the roof. The committee would be glad to hear from any supporter who had tiles available. The contract for supplying the joinery was let tQ Mr A,. Tqop.
