Napier Retailers to Have Special Demonstration i Napier retailers are to eo-operate in a special demonstration for the opening of the spring shopping season on September 8, when the shopping area of the town will be specially decorated. Preliminary plans were discussed at a meeting of the Napier Retailers' Association last night, when the Mayor, Mr. C. O. Aforse was present. A double flora] archway, decked with flowers and shrubs is to be ereeted at the western end of , Emerson street, near Clive Square, while at the intersection of Emerson "and Hastings streets pylons of trees will be erectcd, a central one in the middie of the in(ersection, aud othcrs on eaeh of Ihe four eorners. Shops are also to be suitably decorated for the occasion. During the week there will be a procession of decorated floats.
