BEI^SON— BOUSFIELD , Holy ''Trinity Church, Gisborne, was the scene of u -quiet wedding yesterday mor-ning. when Miriel Maude, eldest.- daughter of . Mr and • IMrs F. B. Bousfield, Collins street, Gisborne, was- married to -Johu Benson, of Ruatoria, son of Mr and Mrs J. Benson, Napier. ° The ceremony was performed by Canon A. F. Hall, and Mr W. Kohu, presided at the organ. • The bride, wlio was escorted by her father, iooked v.ery smart in a cedar brown diagonal weave cardigan suit cut oh Continental lines. The coat, showing the new leg-of-mutton, sleeves just reveaLed a biege. crepe de chine blouse, and the skirt w.as fashioned on straight lines. A Freiich model hat of cire straw finished with au eyeyeil, and a skunk stole caught with a .posy of .prhnroses and ■ violets • were wox;n. Brown acbessories completed . ; 'tlie ensemble. , A prayer'book was canied hy.the bride. . . ■ . ' The bridesmaid, Miss.Natalie Williams, wore- a model frock of fawn . slieer wool with ,a coate,e of .the same .material designed with long sleeves tucked at the wrist. Her hat of plaited . ccllophane %traw and' shoes of mulberry suede were worn. The bridegroom was attended by Mr T. J.
