WELLINGTON, Last Night. Cabinet met to-day for the first time since the rOturn to New Zealand of the Minister of Finance (Hon. W. Nash). At the conelusion of the meeting the ; Prime Ministcr (Mr. Sayage) explained' that Mr. Nash had reported to Ministers on his mission abroad and the results of his negotiations for trade agreements with other countries. Another-. liieeting of tho Ministry was to be held to-morrow, when it was hoped to fix the date for the opening of the coming session. In view of -the fact that Mr. Nash, as Minister of Marketing, had yct to examino the position regarding the eurrent season's guaranteed prices for dairy produce, it was unlikely the Government would be able to make a pronouncement in this connection for a few days yet.
