Miss McDouald'g remarks centered chiefiy cn the work, comments and advice of Dr. Boyd, of Edinburgh, tbe leadef of tbe visiting party; Miss Gray spoke of tbe new ideas in tbe training of tbe young cbild as advocated by Dr. Susan lsaacs, and Miss McConnon the work of Dr. Ddngler, of Austria, wbose experimental work among older children has yielddd very encouraging results. Tbe three speakers impressed tbfeir heurefs with the valuo of tbe confeffeiice, hot oilly lo teachers but to all ifltefested in the training of children, and ftlentidned also tbe not unimportant part thefee cultured men and women of varying nationalities must have in promoting better understanding among difl'erent peoples.
