■ "GOLD DIGGERS OF 1937." "Gold Diggers of 1937," fourth and most elaborate of the ihtned series of tnusical comedies, comes to the Waipukurau Theatre to-night (Tuesday), for one night only. These productions began in 1929 with Gold Diggers of Broadway and carried on with Gold Diggers of 1933 and 1935. Just like the p'erennial Zeigfeld "Follies" and George White "Seandals'* these "Gold Diggers" of the Warner Bros. seem to have become a genuine institution, combining plenty of comedy, lots of song hits and no end of speedy and beautiful dancing by big choruses of lovely girls, "Speaking of the Weather" will "be : sung and whistled about town aud so will "Let's Put Our Heads Together,r and "Life Insurance." There ia. a sraashing military nurnher called "All is Fair in Love and War" with 200 girls in amazing precision drills and dances with flags and drums, directed by .the famed Busby Berkeley.
