New Cathedral Good progress is being made witk Britain' s newest cathedral in Surrey. Uwing to tbe nature of the Kub-soil on tke hillside west of Guildford, 778 reinforced concrete piles had to be driven into the clay. The excavations for the crypt are well advanced, and it is expected that the ground level will be completed and the work on the supeistructure begun early next year.
