Where Pacifism is Absent
PLAIN
SENRE
Sir, — Is it not a law of nature that those who will not take measures to protect themselves are swept away by more vigorous life? Here is a nut for our dear friends who tell us they will never never figlit, and are confident that some miracle will save them if invasion oomes. Each one of such has dominion over a realm possessing millions of indoraitahle soldiers who spring to battle at the first signal of a foreign incursion. They fight without liesitancy and dio willingly, that through their sacrifice the realm might be saved. That is God's plan for the defence of the body of every pacifist; and He, well aware that they may think they may know better than He does, has saved them from themselves by making it impossible for them to interfere when a battle for. life has to he fought. I think the*No More War Movement ought, to pass a resolution about it at their next meeting and send it on to t.hfl AlmiffiTi+.v. — Yonrs. eto. .
