Follow'ing a bump into a stationary car with a friend'B car that he borrowed, Samuol Beattie, a waterside worker, . was fined , £6 and costs , for being. intoxicated while in charge of a car and was- disqualificd from obtainiug a', driver's licence for twelve months. .On ' a charge. of driving without a licence -he .was convicted and discharged.'
