Several members agreed that a light was necessary on this corner. Tho chairman, Mr J. J. Nimon, said that he thought that lights should be placed wherever possible to give tbe maximum benefit, but as tho board had to pay £2 a year for every street-lump in addition to the cost of installation, be felt that each request should bc given careful consideration before it was granted.
