OBITUARY
DR. LOUIS DAPPLES Dr Louis E. C. Dapples, prcsident of the Nestle and Anglo-Swiss Holding Co., Ltd., of Wevey, Switzerland, and principal of the Nestle organisation and lts subsidiaries thrortghout the world, died on Saturday laat at Genoa,, Italy, in his 69th year. Dr Dapples, who joined the board of tlii Nestlo Coiupany in 1922, was a proininonfc hanker, in whlcli spliero he was widely knowii on both tlie Continent and in tlie United States oft America. tn 1927 he was elected president of the Nestle and Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Co., holding that position until his death. Dr Dapples was a much-travclled man. He visited Australia in tho course of a world tour sevoral years ago, and Was the recipient of many honours confet-red upon him by his country, chief of whicii was the diploma of honoris causa of the Univeraity of Lauaanne,
