A Simple Curry
Taka i small apple, J onion, loz. butter, 1 teaspoonful of curry powder, 1 teaspoonful of curry paste, 1 dessertspoonful of #our% f pint of stock, i tablespoonful of coconut, 51b. cooked ineat, 3ozs. boiled rice, chutuey. Plaee the coconut in the stock and allow it to soak. Ghop the apple and cnion finely and fry in the butter untii slightly browned. Add the curry paste aud powder. Strain oif the coconut and add the stock, then siminer gently from 30 to 45 minutes, then add the meat cut into diee. Blend the flour to a smooth paste and add it to the mixture. Stir till boiling, place the iid on the sancepan, and keep under boiling point from 10 to 15 minutes. Disli inside a border of boiled rice and serv with chutney.
