Old boys of the New Plymouth High School are notified that the amiual reunion dinner and smoke concert will be held on Saturday, August 28, in the Victoria Hall, Alunroe street, Napier. Old bays will receive further information by circular at a later date, • Entries are being callqd by the Hawke's Bay Boxing Assoeiation for the annual proyincial championships to be held in the Premier (formerly Trades) Hall next Monday night. Entries will close on Friday,' August 13, withi the secretary, Mr J. Stickland. Expectations of a splendid programme' are high, for the inducement is representation at the national amateur championships at Greymouth next month. A reminder is given of the Soutli Island reunion and dance to be held in the Assembly Hall, Hastings, on Thursday, September 2. Stanley Warwick announces that the rehearsals for the pretty musical play, "Just One Night," have now begun. The club i& prepared to accept a few more applications for places in the chorus from both men and women, either this evening or on Friday next at 7.30 p.m. at the tea kiosk on the racecourse, after whichi the lists will be closed. There is a good opportunity for all who like 4 pretty music and sparkling dancing. No entrance fee is charged. An exceptionally strong cast of principals is being chosen, and it is hoped to produce at an early date. ► .
