In six years the popularity of this method of travel has' increased to sueh an extent that "inclusive" four, five, and eightday tours' are catered "for iu large numbers, while the 14-day tour promises to become equally popular. For the most part these air tours are made on the Continent, for Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Czechoslovakia the French Riyiera and Seandipavia are all within a day's reaeh oi London, and the journeys are made in comfort and with punctuality, A variety of lines caters for this tourist - trade. In addition to Imperial Airways, there are the Sabena Belgian Air Lines, the K.L.M. Dutch Air Lines, Air Force Line, the Swiss Air Lines, and the German Air Lines. These services are interlinked and run to timeA new way of spending a Sunday is to leave Croydon at 9.45 a.m. for Le Touquet, the fashionable French seaside resort, which is reached at 10.50 a.m. Passengers are taken by motor to the Casino grounds, and, after staying for eight hours, they can be back in London by 10 p.m. The total cost is £3 15/-.
