Interest in England LONDON, July 30. j _ Farmfers are manif esting a very keer interest in a new type of Americar cattle and sheep fence. . It is a single-wire fence, J8in. fron the ground and electrified by an ordin ary motor-car battery serving 15 raile; of wire. Animals touching the . wire receive s harmless shocK, which ' they respect. II is believed to be more eifective thar hedges or barbed wire. It does no1 h&rbour vermin or rabbits. The fence has been awarded a silvei medal by the Boyal Laneashire Agricultural Society as the best labour-sav-ing apparatus.
