The mpnthly meeting pf the music circle was held in the Duck Inn. Mrs. Brodie was in thp chair, The mueic for the evening wa? entirply Bcpthpv* en's compositions, and a vpry pleasurable hpur was spent. Mr§. L. Wood and Misa Wood gave pianoforte dupts, of thp Second Mpvement of the Sevepth Symphpny, Mrs, Epsewa?»e read a bripf extract pn Beethoven 's musical career, Miss Eddy's pianoforte solo, First Moveinent Opus 2, NoS/ was very enjoyable. The orchestra under the leadership of Mrs. H. W. Dowling, gave "Minuet in G." A brief pxtract pf thp story of the Moonlight Sonatp was j-ead by Miss E. Donnelly. The flpal item was a piano sole by Miss Wood, Second Movemept Songta Np. 10. A very enjoyable evening was brought to a close with the singing pf the National Anthem
