(Eeceived 5, 12 noon,) RUGBY, Aug, 4, The King awarded th,e Edward Medal for Gallantry to Mr, L. M. Bangley, who was employed in one of ihe gold mines at Kakamaga in Kenya, for the efforts he made to save the life of a native worker after an explosion in the mine in Jnuary, 1936. Bangley was firing a seeond round of nine holes when one hole exploded preinaturely and he was blown some distance away. His native assistant, struek by a rock, fell with his t'ace in water.
