Mattiiew's Cuild oi Fdlowship 011 Tuesday, when the monthly missionary meeting took place, this having been arranged by the leader of the missionary committee. Mrs II. Nelson Fowler. The meeting opened with a missionary hyinn, the accompaniment being played by jleaconess Brand. The speaker for the ai'ternoon was Miss V. Milfroy, the Nafcive Uealtli Nurse, wlio gavo a most interesting aceount of her work among the Muoris in the Jiawke's JBay distriot of which she has cotnplete eharge. Miss Milfroy tvas a delightful speaker, and at the conclusion a vote of thanks proposed by the Guild president, Mrs Barton tlobbs, was most enthusiastically camed. During the afternoon old sheets which had been donated were torn up for bandages and as there is a .never-end-mg need lor tliese in- the vanous missionary stations, any donations ot old sheets for this purpose will be verv gratefully received. Many more pretty artieles which had been made for the sale of work were brought along by tlie menibers and tbc secretary, Mrs H, do Denne, unnounoed that, a> sule of those artieles would bo , held at tk© Auguat ill .msstiwg.
