BANKERS ORGANISE SUCCESSFUL NAPIER DANCE
Most suecessful was the dance given by the combine'd banks of Napier Tast evening at the Silver Slipper Cabaret, Napier. Melodious dance musie was played by Redward's orchestra from the dais at one corner of the room, while the opposite corner had boen arranged most comfortably as a lounge and was decorated wjith palms and hydrangeas. Here ahd there wero placed vases of.liliee and camellias. Three large centre lights were fringeshaded with deep o>ange shad-es, au-1 soft lights from the pillars and walls shed a pleasant glow over tho wkolo scene. Mrs Harold Peters, burgundy satin frock with , moire taifeta, tho coatee having gold iiligree buckle. Mrs C. A. Greig, long iitting frock of black mirror ring velvet with pink corsage spray. Mrs N. Ureig, trained frock of daifodil crepe satm, spray of nilo green flowers in her. hair. Mrs Oyril lCuthbone, white satiu taifeta with ruched hemline to frock and coatee patterned with pink rosebuds. Mrs E. Dale, deep saxe-blue chantilly lace with short puil sleeves and shoulder spray of miked flowers. "Mrs E. Waddington, flttdng frock of black georgette effectively trimmed with jade. Mrs M. Hindmarsh, deep saxe moire taffeta with large puff sleeves. IvTrs T. Loclcyer, long fitting frock of black gcorgette, diamante clips trimming slioulder bands. Mrs Shirley HUI, long fitting frock of gold satin crepe. Mrs A. Esson, parchment chanti'llv lace worn over taffeta, and smart coatee of brown ring velvet.
