On return, after having been woundcd, he ropresented tlie Waikari riding on tho ilitwkc's Bay County Council. Ile is muck iiupresscd with the progress that Wai -a is making. Mr E. L. Cullen; M.P. for Hawke's Bay, was a visitor to Wairoa and Nuhaka 011 Tucsday, looking up new relatives and old friends in the distriet. Mr T. Taylor. of Pukekohe, who lias been liolidaying with liis brotlier and sister at Clydebank, Wairoa, has relurned home.
