- Harvey, Fulton and Hill Harvey, Fulton and Hill repert having held their • weekly market sale in their mart, Russell street, Hastings, when again there was a very large attendance of the public. There were heavy yardings in all secfcions. Priees may be quoted: — Poultry. — B.O. pullets on lay 7/- to 7/9, W.L. pullets on lay 6/6 to 7/-, B.O. pullets (later) 4/- to 5/3, W.L.. pullets (later) 3/- to 4/6, B.O. cockerels 3/6 to 8/3, W.L. cockerels 3/2 to 5/3, B.O. hens 3/4 to 4/5, W.L. hens 2/11 to 3/2 ^ Sussex hens 2/8 to 3/3, ducks 5/10 to 7/6 a pair. r Other saies were: Suite furniture £12 10/-, churn 8/6, shovel 4/-, axe 5/-, wheel braee 8/6, hinges 8/-, piping 4/7, axe 5/9; tin fat 6/6, knapsack spray £1 17/6, gent.'s bicycle £2 10/-, aviary £1, 60 sheets iron '2/6, 2/8 and 4/10^ brooder 13/6, 30 sacks maize 6/- to 9/6, empty cases 36/-, l yqung dog £2 *2/-, leading chains 30/-, ' sink 10/-, settee 8/-, pram £2 5/-, seagrass chair 14/-, waiter 15/-, occasional table 7/6, oak tallboy £4, rimu tallboy £3 5/-, kitchen dresser 25/-, dining table £1 2/6, piano £14 5/-, dining suite £8. A quantity of vegetables and "fruit: were all sold at firm rates.
