AUCKLAND, Last. Night. The retrial of Dorothy Baker, ma*ned, agpd 33, concluded before Mr, Justice Fair in the Supreme Court. The two charges against her were of counselling or procuring Raymond Grigg to" use unlawfully; an instrument oa a girj aged !9 at Panmure and on her own caughter, aged 14, on August 25, .1936. Ihe . jury failed to agree on the case about ten days ago. Af i,er hearmg the evidence, his Honour directed tho jury tliat on the second .count, relatmg to accused's daughter, there was no evidence to justify the S th Dg tk6 charSe ^s true, and must find a verdict of not guiity.
