Brown is seen as a professional soothsayer in a Midway concession, after a short but disastrou3 career as a part-time prize fighter has brought him many black eyes and enough money to pay for n course in astrology. The events of the story seem to bear out his faith in the snbjeet, and tne picture comes to a thrilling close when he ventures an amazing prophecy — and makes it stick! But this is not until many laughable situations have kept him jumping back and forth between the frying pan and the fire, with disaster always just around the corner.
