(iteceived 2, 2.0 p.m.) LONDON, August 1. The Daily Telegraph's Peipiug correspondent helped bring in wounded Chinese lying iu hiindreds on the Nanyuan battlefield. They were ignored by local inhabitants. Every offieer and man in two battalions were killed or wounded. Only 100 out of 2000 wounded in Peiping wero able to help themselves, the others having succumbed or committed sui sido.
