GIFT PARTH
An Augus|; bride, Miss Jean Wilson, of Hastings, was the guest of honour yesterday afternoon at a gift party given by Miss Mary Campboll, at her nouie, "Horonui," Hastings. Bpriug bulbs, violets and swcet peas decorated the roouis where the guests chattered together and after tea had been eujoyeu everyone adjourneri to the billiard room to watch the guest of honour open her parcels. A vackty of uteful gifts were received for which Miss- Jean Wilson thsnked tveryoue. Miss Mary- Gainpbell wore a f rock cf klack self-strip.-'i ' rfghalaine with a frili of finely -kilted organdie oatliniug the neck and iinishing the sleeves at the wrists. The guest of honour Wore an enseiublo of marina green cloque with brown flowers at the neck and hebrown cire straw to'que was triramed with : green and brown flowers.
