In my article on Nelson, wlrieh appeared in last Saturday 's issue, there i was a misprint in a name, due no doubt to my bad handwriting. The Jllly which ran second to Nelson in the Auckland Cup two years in succession was Whaitiri, and nofc Whaitin as prinfced. Whaitiri was one of the best of the many good onos brcd by the late I Mr. William Douglas, who chose Nelson I as ono of the lirst matos for his fine| I maro when she was retired to the stud.
