KENNEDY ROAD EXTENSION

Route Plotted, Formation Begun The first gang of 20 men is making steady progress with the extension of Kennedy road, Napier, to meet the Taradale roajl at a point near the Napier Park racecourse. The route has been plotted, and the men are now engaged on formation of the road. The work is expected to be completed in iive months, and the supervision of the Hawke's Bay Council, which has undertaken it on belialf? of the other contributing bodies. The men now engaged pn the work will not complete it, but will be later replaced with a further gang oi 20 from the unemployed register. At a later date the road will be sealed.
