Although the competition for the colts single9 was not completed, it waa virtually won by Mr C. Colebrook, who played and won a large percentage of his games. Unfortunately Mr Colebrook is not with us to-night, having been transferred to another branch of his bank^ but the congratulations of hie fellow-bowlers are extended to him. All these playe^s, although unsuccessful, acquitted themselvea extremely creditably. The ' same remarks car be applied equally to the Heretaunga Social Club, against whom we were fortunate in being able to hold tho Biverhead Gold Cup. Clark Buttona: Holdere, McKain and Bennison.
