TAKAPAU R.S.A. ANNUAL DANCE

An annual fixture that is always looked forward to with pleasurable anticipation, the returned soldiers' ball, was held in the Public Hall, and, as is customary with this popular function5 was largely attended. The ballroom was beautifully decorated with greenery, flaga and bunting, a committee of R.S.A men being responsible. The music, which was exeellent, and which added not a little to the enjoyment of the evening, was played by Mr. Te Tau's orehestra. Messrs. M. J. McKenna and A. O. Le Leivre were assiduous in carrying out the M.C. duties of the evening. The supper arrangements were well attended to, and volunteer orderlies served to the satisfaetion of everybody. The supper waa "buffet,*' and was in the rnain supplied by the wives of the R.S.A. ■ Some of those present, and. the dresses they wore, were as below Mrs W. T.
