"Inquirer". — Lawrence of Arabia died on May 19, 1935, as a result of injuries received when lie i'ell i'rom a motor-cycle when trying to avoid a ■pusfi cyclist in Eugland. So far as tlie mandates of France'and Great Britaiu over Northern Syria and Transjcrdonia are concerned, tliere is no question oi' a date of expiratjon. The mandates have been secured by these two countries and subsequent events will determine their termination.
