The jurnblo sale arranged by the Hastings Eree Kindergartcn Association for nest Saturday, July 31, kas been postponed until further notice. A grand conccrt will be given by the Hastings Baptist Church Choir in the Baptist Church, Karamu road, Hastings, on Friday, July 30, at 8 p.m. The Dannevirke Hunt OJub will hold ils point-to-point steeplechasos on the propcrty of Mr W. C. Morton, Takapau, on Wednosday, August 4. The first event starts at 1.30 p.m. The St. Mary's Tennis Club, Taradale, will hold a grand ball in the Taradale Town Hall on Wednesday, August 4. The New Majestic Orchestra will supply the inusic, and the floor and supper arrangements are in the hands of a capable committee, so that patrons may count upon an cnjoyable evening. Frce buses will leave the Motor Co.'s gnragc, Napier, at 7.45 p.m., and Westerm'an 's corner, Hastings, at 7.30 p.m., returning after the dance.
