New Organisation in Hastings 51 BOYS AT FIRST MEETING A new musi-cal organisation was brought into being in Hastings last evening, when a mouth-organ band was ' formed. The keen interest dn the proposal taken by the young people of the town was revealed by the fact that there were 51 boys and youths present to set up the band. A p^eliminary test revealed that of this number 38 were actually players, and that many were exceptionally proficient with their instruments. The Tormal business of deciding upon u band was quickly disposed of, Mr A. Fear being appointed leader. The boys then settled down to their first practice. It was agreed that there should be weekly practices, and arrangements are to be made to supplement the boys' efforts by introducing an organ and other musical effects that lend themselves admirably to the support of mouth-orgauls,
