Other saies were: — Ehgineer's saw 7/-, bit and cbain 7/-, miro stove £1 9/6, 30 bags maize from 6/3 to 9/6, bolts 4/6, 50 bales hay at 1/6 (thrashed), oak table £2 5/-, gate 15/ lawnmower 10/-, dSning- room sif.te £8, double bed 17/6, set crockery £1 15/-, wheelbarrow £1 2/6, Acme wringer £2 01/-, mattress £1 5/-. A fair entry of fruit, vegetables and sundries met with ready competition.
