Out of 32,000 schools in England and Scotland circularised. only 810 have film projectors, compared with 17,000 in Germanv. 10,097 in the [Jnited States and 9400 in France, said Mr Kenneth Lindsay, Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Education, openme the London Film School. He urged inoreased use of the cinema for education al purposes, and said the Board of Education was doing it6 bit by raising the grant tow^rds the cost of film equipmont in schools.
