Oatmeal and Ginger Drink

Take 2 tablespoonfuls of fine^ oat--meal teaspoonful of ground ginger, 1 tablespoonful of brown sugar, 1 lcmon and 1 quart of boiling water. Method: Mix in a basin the oatmeal, _ ginger, sugar and the gratefi Tind of the lemon. Pour the boiling water on to these, stirring all the time. Turn the _ mixture into a saucepan, ^ stir until boiling, and add the lcmon juice. Simmer from: 10 to 15 minutes, and strain into a hot jug.
