NORTH CHINA CRISIS Chinese Army Refuses to Retire TRAIN FIRED ON

(Received 26, 11.30 a.m.) TOKIO, July 25. Reports from Peiping indicate that the Ohinese are still delaying their promised withdrawal of troops. Only one regiment departed from the city, while two arrived. A- message lrom Tientsin states that three Japanese transports arrived at Taku and are disembarking troops for Tatigau. Although the situation in N.orth Ghina was previously officially reported to be entii'ely clear, it is now ivnorted to have takeit a turn for the worse because of the refusal of the ThirtySeventh Army to continue the evac nation of the disputed area.
