MR. ROBERT HEWITT

Mr Ilobert Hewitt aed 78, a wellcnown. resident of Hamilton, oasse away recently. The hue Mr Hewitt was born at Drummond Primate, Portadowu, County Armagh, Ireland, and came t.o New Zealand when 16 years old. He landed at Lyttelton and went to Napier,* where he mauaged a property ownetl by Nelson Bros. About 20 years ago he went to the Waikato, later settling in To Aroha, where he carried on business as a car salesman. Mr Hewitt had many interests and was a prominent member of the Masonic order. He was unmarried and is survived by three brothers and a sister. One brother rcsides at Stratford. The deceased waa a . cousin of Mr J. A. Weathered, of Napier.
