AMATEUR BOXING

Entries Called For Tournament During the next few weeks there will be much activity among amateur boxers in this district. Two important tournament's have been arranged for them by the Hawke's Bay Boxing Association, and they have in view representation at the New Zealand amateur championships at Greymouth in September, The first of the tournqys, jvhich is to be a line-up of talent for the provincial championships, will, be held pa August 5, and entries close with the seeretary, Mr J. Stickland, Queen street, on August 2.
