King Leopold Proposes World-wide Research PROMOTING HARMONY

(Received 24, 11.30 a.m.) BRUSSELS, July 23. King Leopold sent a letter to the Premier, M. Paul van. Zeeland, suggesting an Independent Economic Association, based on world-wide research among trade, agiricultural, financial and labour experts for a solution of current problems. M. van Zeeland will shortly present the results of his preliminary inquiry into international trade obstacles with which he was entrusted by England and France in April. King Leopold points out that whole sections of humanity are out of sympath^ with one another and this should be the first step to reunite them.
