KTJGBY, Jnly 24. Answering a question in the House of Commons concerning the Chinese situation, the Foreign Secretary, Mr. Anthony Eden,*said he did not consider that reference of the matter to the League of Nations would help. Neither the Nine-Power Treaty nor the Kellogg Pact entailed any British commitments on the Sino-Japanese dispute.
